Introduction
Hi, my name is Hye-yeon Lee. I was born in 1994. I’m a Korean language teacher, and I studied for a total of six years—four years for my bachelor's degree and two years for my master's degree—to become a teacher. I love sharing what I have learned, which is why I became a teacher. I obtained my Korean language teaching certification in 2017 and have been teaching ever since.
My hobbies include watching dramas and animations. Initially, I started watching them to engage in conversations with my students, but now I enjoy them so much that I watch them whenever I have free time. I also have a unique hobby: finding ways to help students easily understand difficult concepts. Although it can be challenging to come up with effective teaching methods, it’s incredibly rewarding when students grasp the material easily.
In school, my special skills included playing the recorder, performing Nanta (Korean percussion), and writing poetry. Nowadays, my special skill is helping and taking care of others. I’m good at supporting and assisting people, which led me to start homestay Korean language education. I’m fortunate to be doing something I love and excel at for a living, which makes my work enjoyable.
So, I can confidently say that every moment we spend together will be valuable.
